Hoofdklaase Zaterdag C
The weekend of Queen's Day (30 April) was a quiet one on the football front, with no amateur games scheduled. Those played were catch up games, postponed over the winter. With trains to Germany being replaced by buses due to engineering work, there was not much choice for someone without a car for the weekend. This game appealed as the ground was near the station and, being 'last but one' v last, there was something at stake.
To be honest, the game was of really poor quality and it is hard to believe that this is the same level as ASWH. The (bottom) away team deserved the win, only because they made less mistakes and, given they had a header clearly over the line and not given in the first half, I was pleased they did.
I would be very surprised if both these sides weren't playing Eerste Klaase football next season.
