The original idea was that this was to be the first game in a two-part groundhop on the opening weekend of the Belgian third division, however due to illness in the week some members weren't up to full match fitness and reckoned they could only last through to half time. So off we went to Londerzeel, with the knowledge that we could enjoy the day rather than worrying as to whether we'd make the second game in time. To be honest I was a little surprised when we turned up, I was expecting a more developed ground with a smaller crowd, instead it would prove to be the opposite that was true. As we drove past the ground the majority of the parking had been taken up, namely by two buses of, I assume, away fans.
The ground, as prior mentioned, didn't live up to my expectation much. Entry is in one corner, next to the clubhouse. As you head straight on you find yourself along one side. This side features two steps of uncovered terracing running the full length, while behind the goal is hard standing. The opposite side is the only stand on the complex. Running the full length of the pitch this is a covered terrace, separated in the middle by a couple of blocks of seats. As looking from the other side the designated away area is situated on the left hand side of the stand, although we questioned as to how segregation could be implemented. The final end was the clubhouse, elevated for decent views over the pitch, and to allow for the tunnel from the changing rooms, situated below ground. Because of the overhang on the roof it meant the the two steps in front of the clubhouse, on one side are covered. The ground has no floodlights.
