You'll never win when we are here!
So far the PDM record at all games including Koln stands at P:3 W:0 D:0 L:3 GF:1 GA:9. And that's just how we like it. Having developed a huge soft spot for gladbach in the past couple of seasons it seems only natural to find some joy in watching Koln get dominated and destroyed in every single match we watch them in.
This game was no different. Most people will look at the score line and think that this game wasn't very exciting. In fact it was quite the opposite and the only problem was when would HSV finally score. It seemed that for the whole of the second half Koln were playing with eight defenders. We thought it had paid off when Koln scored a goal around the 55th minute mark and the ground erupted. Needless to say it was very funny when everyone finally noticed the linesman signalling for offside. This led to HSV building up the pressure to finally get the winner in the 88th minute. This was interesting as, despite the away end not being full, there were Hamburg fans everywhere. It's amazing that we didn't see them all as none of them made any effort to hide their colors.
After the game we walked around towards the terrace to get some pictures back before walking to the car. The Koln ultras? looked very angry. This must of been the result and the style they lost. at home. But at half time they appeared to stage a protest with loads of banners. After researching the website delayed it appears to be a movement, led by Dortmund, against the classification of games leading to higher ticket prices to the bigger clubs in the Budesliga. After getting some final pictures we walked back to the car. As with many Bundesliga grounds we were impressed with the arrangements. We parked in P7 for 3.50 euros. We were out of the car park and on the motorway in 20 minutes after leaving the ground.
