This is another of those East Kent grounds that I have simply never made it to. Always finding another place to go or simply saying..'I can do that ground anytime'. Well I finally did. Another good ground for the level the club is at (Ryman League Div 1 South). Only really has two sides to it. The third being full of changing rooms and a few other portakabins (although you can stand along the path and one end being just a path. That said the other two sides make up for it. A covered terrace at one end and along the side a lovely old stand that also doubles as a terrace in the middle! However, as it faces west the first half you were almost blinded to the game action as the sun was low in the sky. In warmer months though imagine that the stand is a lovely place to sit with a drink and watch some footy in the warm. Easy to find, plenty of parking and (being Faversham) loads of Shepherd Neame everywhere. As is (almost) obligatory at this level a bar at one end that enabled you to stay in the warm and watch the game with a drink although for this match I ventured out to the seats for the whole game. Game itself was fairly average with neither team looking particularly good and the result (1-1) I guess reflected that. Not up there as my favourite ground in this part of world but certainly quite high in the rankings.
