Chicago White Sox 2-9 Minnesota Twins

Meanwhile on the South Side
The Chicago White Sox had their own famous, ancient stadium, Comiskey Park (built in 1910). Unlike their rivals from the north of the city they opted for a new stadium, over the road from the old one. In fact, home plate and foul lines can still be seen in the car park, and the entrance to the new stadium follows the line of the old grandstand (pictures 2, 3 and 4 below).
The new stadium was opened in 1991 and has under gone significant renovation already, over several years as the club sought to make it more fan friendly. The end result is a perfectly good stadium, but one lacking any really memorable features.
It holds just over 40,000, but unlike the North Siders, they rarely fill it.
But that matters not to the south siders, as in 2005 they achived something that has eluded the Cubs for over 100 years, a World Series win.
It's easy to reach by subway and tickets are nearly always available on the gate.
