Bristol Rovers 0-1 Aldershot Town
Att 5,640 with 367 shots
17/09/11
A tractor and a farmer.
The Memorial ground is for rugby. End of. The large terrace. Hospitality galore. High up seats. A temporary stand. Conversions for every shot (if you wear blue and white!). Yes you may as well be watching egg chasing. I was rather disappointed with this ground to say the least. Basic at best (well for away fans). The slope, however is remarkable! I haven't seen anything like it since the Non-league delights of Forest Green Rovers!
Now onto the Oddities of the day's action:
1) the tractor in one corner! we all know you are farmer's but please don't make it so obvious.
2) The steward thought my camera and Lenses in my camera bag was two or three cans or something similar. He proceeded to get my attention by saying ooo rrrr boyyy. I didn't know how to react!
But I guess I can't gripe at everything as the shots pulled of a fantastic performance to see off what can only be described as a poor rovers side. Alex Rodman is a name you should look out for in the future! I shall now leave you with the pictures.
